A 20-year-old student testified in a trial against Palestinian Ibrahim A. He described how the perpetrator repeatedly stabbed a young woman.

nAfter numerous interviews with witnesses at the murder trial surrounding the fatal knife attack on the regional train in Brockstedt, the image of the perpetrator with an emotionless expression became increasingly clear. On Friday, a 20-year-old student spoke to the district court ItzehoeHow did he see a man stab a young girl. He ran to the back of the next car and yelled, “Knife, knife, everybody out!” Then he called 110 and answered questions from the control center with the help of other passengers.

The witness said he had two pictures in his head. Once when the young woman was not quite on the ground and the attacker stabbed her. And then, as she was already lying on the ground and the perpetrator continued to stab his victim with the knife from above. The offender said nothing, “no facial expression, no emotion, blank look.” He did not show any emotions. He stabbed not quickly, but calmly one after another.

Another witness from the train spoke of the high-frequency stitching and extreme violence she saw. She described the perpetrator as “a little crazy, a little crazy”. The woman said he passed out completely when paramedics took him away and he was still sitting on the ground. He looked like someone who had just committed a crazy act.

Palestinian accused Ibrahim A. The 34-year-old is charged with two counts of murder and four counts of attempted murder. The description of the perpetrator as emotionless or indifferent was already evident in statements made by several passengers and police officers. Officials who first arrived at the station reported that the man knelt on the platform after the crime with his arms raised and covered in blood. He looked down, did not speak, and only pointed at himself. On the train, he acted clear before the crime and did stretching exercises, passengers reported.

Another student described the crime

The day before the trial, a 21-year-old student from Hamburg made a statement.
